Weber State's Garden Club
Weber State University’s student-run community garden is a vibrant sustainability and environmental stewardship hub. The Garden Club manages the garden and provides fresh produce for the Weber Cares Pantry on campus, as well as the Weber Fridge to support the local community. This initiative brings together students, faculty, and community members to cultivate fruits, vegetables, and herbs using sustainable gardening practices.
The garden emphasizes organic growing methods and serves as a living classroom where students learn about ecology, nutrition, and the importance of local food systems. In addition to growing fresh produce, the garden fosters community and collaboration, encouraging participants to share knowledge and resources.
The Weber State Garden Club frequently collaborates with campus organizations to promote sustainable practices, participate in hands-on workshops, and host events centered around gardening, cooking, and environmental stewardship.
Parking:
- Please do not park at the Annex or on surrounding streets.
- Park at the Dee Events Center, ride the shuttle to the Shepherd Union building and walk to the annex.
- Park in the W4 and W5 lots for free during the summer and anytime after 4:00 PM.
