About
The Food Recovery Network is the largest student-led movement to reduce food waste and increase food security in America.
Weber State University's chapter partners with Sodexo through dining services to recover surplus food which is donated to the Weber Cares Food Pantry and the Lantern House. We also partner with community organizations like O-Town Kitchen for community gleaning projects. We also host other zero-waste events like Kitchenware Drives, Free Swaps, and Wildcats Go Zero Waste! To be added to FRN's emailing list email foodrecoverynetwork@weber.edu. Can't wait for the meeting and want to chat with other members? Join our Discord server!
Why should you get involved? Participating in clubs on campus not only contributes to academic success, but it is a great way to network, make friends, find a sense of belonging, and make real change on campus! Volunteers who invest the most time in any of the 4 Sustainable Clubs will be nominated for a sustainability award!
Interested in becoming a subcommittee chair? Positions are open for the following projects (email foodrecoverynetwork@weber.edu for more info):
