What is Wildcat Advantage?

Wildcat Advantage is a three-level program, which embeds High Impact Educational Experiences (HIEEs) into Weber State University student’s college career through:

  • Career Development
  • Capstone Project
  • Community Engaged Learning
  • Global Learning Experiences 
  • Internships
  • Leadership 
  • Peer Mentor
  • Sustainability
  • Undergraduate Research

Each Weber State University student is expected to complete at least two High Impact Educational Experiences (HIEEs) before graduating with a bachelor’s degree.


Why HIEEs?  

HIEEs promote knowledge and skill development that is highly sought by employers and graduate programs. It gives you an advantage!

In order to stay on track for completion of your first HIEE in Level 1 of Wildcat Advantage, please follow the schedule below:

Orientation Milestones

Milestone 1:  Watch recorded orientation session and add your impact.

Log your HIEE(s)

  1. Create an artifact/project in your ePortfolio (Portfolium).
    • Refer to Projects if you need assistance.
  2. Log your HIEE(s) into GivePulse

We are HIRING! If you are passionate about connecting students with High Impact Educational Experiences (HIEEs), then this is the job for you! We are looking for an office aid to provide general office support by answering phones, data entry, managing reception area, assisting with student trainings and orientations and completing other duties as assigned.
