About
Wildcats are going green! WSU football and basketball are taking on WSU's goal of going zero-waste. Now, the Sustainable Clubs are looking for volunteers to help implement recycling at home games.
Volunteers will assist in setting up recycling bins at given stations around the stadium and monitoring them, ensuring that they do not get contaminated with items that belong in the landfill. This will help educate fans on recycling and its importance.
Below are the following forms needed to participate in this event. Volunteers are unable to participate without filling out all 3 steps!
- Sign-up through Givepulse
- Fill out the Weber State Volunteer link here. You will be directed to a page with a drop down bar. Select "Sustainability Volunteer" and fill out the basic information that we will need in case of an emergency. This is required by the university and is necessary for participation.
- Lastly, when you arrive at the event, there will be a photo release and waiver form for participants to sign.
What: As a volunteer, you will help station recycling bins around the stadium, monitor them for contamination, and clean up excess cans and bottles left around the stadium after fans clear out.
When: January 18th @ 7PM (See additional dates below)
Where: Dee Events Center
How: Sign up using GivePulse to volunteer, or email allisonbrown3@weber.edu for more information.
