Be A Friend to a Hospice Patient

Applegate is looking for volunteers to spend time with hospice patients and their families in their time of need. Volunteers provide companionship, emotional support, and do other things like reading to a patient or helping out with small tasks. Volunteers spend 1-2 hours with a patient one time each week. Volunteering takes place in the patient's home. We always work with your schedule and keep you as close to home as possible.

A short training is required, at home, on your own time.
