Make a Difference Day - Reconnect with the River

Lets make a difference in our community to celebrate MAKE A DIFFERANCE DAY, Weber State Community Engagement Team and Geography department is partnering with Ogden City Recreation to help clean and restore our river! We will be starting at the Ogden River Parkway location that is on Wall and 20th by the Walmart parking lot. It is preferred that volunteers meet at Weber where there will be a bus to shuttle volunteer to and from the Dee Events Center (north end of the parking lot) to the service site (9:30am -from campus to site, noon- from site to campus and bring any volunteers back to site, and 2:30pm-take volunteers back to campus)
Volunteers will be provided with lunch and the necessary equipment but come prepared to be cleaning up outside. Bring a water bottle to fill up and gloves if you have some, gloves will be provided for those who don't have any.

Requirements
Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
- Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.
- Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.
